Registration
When is my Registration due?
You are encouraged to forward your completed registration form early as we have a limit on the number of teams that may be accommodated at Old Parliament House. Registrations MUST reach the registrar by 30 June, but acceptance even prior to this date will depend on there still being available capacity. Registering early will provide a greater opportunity for your students to be allocated a nation of their choice. We also need to liaise final numbers with the motel and other catering places a few weeks before MUNA starts, which limits our capacity to accept late nominations.
What does the Registration Fee cover?
The Registration Fee includes all meals & accommodation for the team members for the duration of the Assembly (Dinner on Friday night to morning tea on Sunday inclusive).
This registration also covers the Adult Counsellor for a meal on the Friday night at the Greenhills Conference Centre; morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Saturday at Old Parliament House; Saturday dinner at ANU and morning tea on Sunday at Old Parliament House. It does not include accommodation for the Adult Counsellor. Counsellors need to make their own accommodation arrangements. However, a form is available (HERE) to book accommodation at the Greenhills Conference Centre (at additional cost). Once a booking is made, the counsellor will be responsible for paying the fees due to the MUNA Committee.
The counsellors also staying at the Greenhills Conference Centre may use the buses transporting the students to and from the events at Old Parliament House and ANU if they wish.
Adult guests and supporters are encouraged to attend pre-dinner drinks and the official dinner at Bruce Hall, Australian National University and join with the students and diplomatic representatives. The cost of the dinner is included in the Registration fee for students and one adult counsellor. The cost for other guests is $50.00 per person.
Each sponsoring club or district is responsible for transporting their students to and from Canberra.
Can we choose other accommodation?
All students will be accommodated without exception at the Greenhills Conference Centre. This includes students who normally live in the ACT. Please ensure that students and parents understand this arrangement prior to finalising your team.
Counsellors need to make their own accommodation arrangements. However, a form is available (HERE) to book accommodation at the Greenhills Conference Centre (at additional cost). Once a booking is made, the counsellor will be responsible for paying the fees due to the MUNA Committee prior to receiving any room key.
